Our first school trip and it was a fun one out in the Hauraki Gulf at the Motutapu Island camp which was formerly an Artillery Camp in WWII. The bunk houses were very basic! Also remember someone coming to grief with a wasp nest while abseiling..........ouch! I think the 4th Form was split into two groups and went out at different times.
