PHOTOS PLEASE
I'm running out of photos from 7th form, need fresh material from others to continue the collection. Just scan yours and email them to me in large format and then I can post them on the blog. Don't worry if they aren't clear, I can shop them to make them a clear, straighter, brighter or crop the relevant subject.
Anyone can post a comment on this blog, at the end of each post is a comment link.
Are you all happy about your photos and your christian names being used on this blog? Let me know.
What else would you like to see on this blog? Any suggestions will be considered.
The good, the bad and the ugly
Mrs Stedman "The Dragon" is on Old Friends and is 78
Mr Agnew also on Old Friends and is 75
Mr Wood is there too
Mr Morgan the art teacher
Mr Guyan the music master
Mr Mills the mathematician who had great hair
Mr Cosslett our PE and Social Studies teacher....now a juggler!
Haven't looked for them all, I wonder who is still teaching?
Evidence
Mr Jones has wanted this proof for a quarter of a century. Rick and Pete got the blame for a crack appearing in the Jones' spa. Do you think they might of caused it? Or maybe it was the dozen people in a 4 person spa that did it? This photo was from a celebration after our 7th Form awards ceremony. I was too contaminated with Glandular Fever to share the spa water so I know it wasn't me who made the crack.
Lunchtime at Bucklands Beach
7th Form was great when you could take off down to the beach to enjoy some sunshine and lunch, not sure if it was exactly approved by the Mr Seagar? This particular day I recall placing my huge thick accounting folder on the roof of my old green Hillman Hunter while I put my Pinnacle Pack (made by Jenni Hume's dad) in the back and then drove off, pages of work flying down the road behind me! Mrs Philps won't be happy!

Remember this.........just 20 cents
Vote now!
Who did we choose in 1984? An interesting article in a quality publication by the students of Pakuranaga College! I remember their being some discussion about the cover being "too phallic" by Mr Griffiths. Who will be 'Mr Pakuranga College 2009'...............you will have to get involved in the reunion to find out. You must be amazed I still have all this crap after 25 years! I have lived in the same house for 18 years and have this morning just found one small rotting cardboard box up in the loft in the garage that has been unopened in all those years, a real time capsule of my school days. Lots more to posted..............beware!
Results
The Universtiy Bursary Results as per the local paper in early 1985. Were we all happy with what we achieved? What did we all go on to do with our lives? I was given a B Bursary by aegrotat/compassionate consideration and went on to Uni to gain a B App Sci (Nursing), worked for a few years in nursing, haven't nursed for over 16 years now. I have learned that results from school certainly don't define what you can go on to achieve in your life. I have caught up with a few and we have some very interesting people amongst our year group and it will be great to share what has happened over the last 25 years.
